Driver Eligibility

All renters and authorized additional drivers must meet our minimum age and driver's license requirements. A valid driver's license and any required supporting documentation must be presented before vehicle pickup.

Security Deposits

A refundable security deposit is required for vehicle rentals. Deposit amounts generally range from $150 to $400, depending on the vehicle category.

Deposits are subject to the rental agreement and may be applied toward outstanding charges, damage, or other applicable fees.

Insurance Requirements

Renters must satisfy River City Rentals' applicable insurance requirements before taking possession of a vehicle. Acceptable coverage and documentation will be verified during the rental process.

Rental Payments

Rental charges, applicable taxes, fees, and the required security deposit must be paid according to the terms of the reservation and rental agreement.

Mileage & Geographic Restrictions

Mileage allowances and permitted travel areas may vary by vehicle and rental agreement. Additional charges or restrictions may apply.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned with the required fuel level specified in the rental agreement. Refueling charges may apply.

Smoking & Pets

Smoking is prohibited in rental vehicles. Pet restrictions and applicable cleaning fees are governed by the rental agreement.

Cancellations & Late Returns

Cancellation deadlines, refunds, rental extensions, and late-return charges are subject to River City Rentals' rental policies and the terms agreed upon at booking.

Vehicle Condition

Customers are responsible for reviewing and acknowledging the vehicle's condition at pickup and return. Damage, excessive cleaning, or missing equipment may result in additional charges.
